The Program Manager - Delivery and Change Specialist role is critical in the delivery of BP’s Downstream Procurement. Responsible for the delivery of strategic and continuous improvement initiatives across BP’s Procurement, this crucial role will partner on change management activities and help deliver demonstrable results to the business’ bottom line. The role accountabilities include defining, delivering, tracking and reporting multiple continuous improvement as well as larger project/programs encompassing elements of strategy, culture, people, process, systems and metrics. The role is also responsible for change activity, as well as the communications associated with assigned projects. Key accountabilities Program Management Contributes to the delivery of continuous improvement and change projects in Downstream Procurement. Contributes to the successful delivery of the Downstream Procurement strategic agenda. Reports progress on assigned projects and change activities. Works with key Procurement and business stakeholders to implement change and drive value Works with colleagues across the regional delivery and change teams to deliver consistency and commonality in the Downstream Procurement strategic agenda. Ensures the appropriate management of change and mitigation of risk is applied to change activity. In-Year Planning and Delivery Contribute to the development of materials and inputs into key business processes and performance management forums. CommunicationsOwns the development and refinement of Downstream Procurement communication materials and channels to inform and bring teams along the change journey. Essential Education University degree in a technical/business discipline or related equivalent business experience required. Essential experience and job requirements Significant experience in project/program change management. 5+ years of relevant experience required Consulting, Project or Program Management, Procurement/Business Transformation or other related experience ideal Skilled application in developing and deploying multiple communication methods and influencing at all levels in an organisation. Basic application in converting strategic direction and agenda into tangible project plans, and mobilising resources to deliver those plans. Skilled application in program and project management Basic application in managing medium/large transformational change programmes – developing and implementing strategy to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of a business area / unit. Basic application in procurement process and operations, and process change (desirable but not critical) Skilled application in change management and communications Previous experience in a project or programme delivery environment is desirable, with experience in delivering strategy, process, system, and organisation change Other Requirements (e.g. Travel, Location) There are no additional requirements.
